Xiaomi Mi Note 3 is another Chinese smartphone offering that’s expected to be unveiled somewhere around this year. Rumor has it that Xiaomi is already adding the finishing touches and this rumor is somewhat confirmed by a recent leak. The leak we are talking about shows us the smartphone’s shipping box which clearly shows the Mi Note 3 logo. Sadly, the person who leaked the shipping box image didn’t provide us with actual real-life pictures of the smartphone.
As previously mentioned, the smartphone is scheduled to come out in 2017. Even though we don’t its actual release date, Xiaomi is expected to launch it during the Christmas Holidays. The reason why this is more than likely to happen is because customers are more inclined to upgrade their smartphones during that time period.
One of Xiaomi Mi Note 3’s key selling points is its large 5.7-inches panel. The display uses AMOLED technology that’s capable of offering more colorful images than LED ones do. In addition, the display also features a full HD pixel resolution of 1080 x 1920 and a pixel density of 386.
In terms of power, Mi Note 3 impresses us with its octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset. The processor has been clocked at 2.3GHz and it is bundled with an Adreno 540 graphics processing unit alongside 6GB of RAM. Furthermore, the upcoming smartphone will be available for purchase in the 64GB and 128GB of internal storage space. Sadly, the smartphone doesn’t support microSD cards which means that its internal memory cannot be expanded any further.
Last but not least, Mi Note 3’s rear side will be equipped with a 12MP dual camera setup which features dual-LED, PDAF, touch focus, face detection, HDR and panorama. On the front side though, Mi Note 3 offers a smaller 8MP selfie shooter.
