Has Huawei launched a new trend with his P20 Pro when equipped it with three cameras on the back? There are rumors that confirm it. First, Apple itself is thinking to release an iPhone with three cameras on the back. Now, Samsung Galaxy S10 is rumored to come out with a triple camera setup.
“Samsung, which has lower than expected demand for its latest Galaxy S9 line, will consider equipping its next premium phone with three cameras and a 3D sensor to revitalize its smartphone business,” said Kim Dong-won, an analyst at KB Securities.
Apple and Samsung would be followers in this case and not the leaders.
Samsung Galaxy S10 – New Rumors Suggest A Triple Camera Setup
The Huawei P20 Pro features a 40-megapixel sensor, an 8-megapixel sensor, and a 20-megapixel monochrome sensor and several tests have shown that this triple camera system shots stunning photos, especially in low-light conditions.
The choice of implementing three cameras on the back of the future Samsung Galaxy S10 would be interesting anyway, knowing that Samsung is just starting to get interested in the dual camera setup.
Indeed, the Galaxy Note 8 has two cameras, just like the Galaxy S9 Plus.
Moving to a triple camera setup in 2019 with the Samsung Galaxy S10 seems surprising but Samsung should not let competition take market share in this regard.
Following Huawei and anticipating Apple’s choice could allow Samsung to be right on time with this feature.
What do we know so far about Galaxy S10?
According to the rumors, the future Samsung Galaxy S10 will boast a 5.8-inch display, while the S10 Plus variant will come out with a 6.3-inch display.
Under the hood, it is rumored to pack a new-gen Samsung Exynos chipset, for the European market, while in North America will come out with the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC.
On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy S10 will come with 5G connectivity and, according to the latest before-mentioned rumors, it will pack a triple camera setup on the back.
