Samsung is a powerful competitor on the phone market, and it continues to work hard to maintain its positions. We already found out that the company is preparing a Galaxy A series, and now we finally received some design leaks.
The images have been revealed by a Chinese insider and they show the front and rear sides of the devices. Let’s see what these phones have to offer.
The 2018 edition will be similar to the 2017 one
You shouldn’t expect some innovative designs, since the 2018 edition of the Galaxy A series will respect the previous look. However, there are some size differences, and you can expect different specs as well.
The upcoming phones will have a metal unibody look, just like their predecessors. The devices will have curved edges and rounded corners. The images seem to indicate that A5 and A7 have the Bixby button placed on their left side.
The smartphones will also feature a fingerprint reader that will be placed under the rear camera. Since the scanner looks quite small so many believe that it could be a repurposed Home button.
We already have some details about the upcoming Galaxy A7 (2018) and Galaxy A5 (2018).
A5 appeared on Geekbench, and if the information is correct, then the phone will come with 4 GB of RAM and an Exynos 7885 chipset. It should also have the Android Nougat operating system.
Meanwhile, A7 was spotted on GFXBench, and we found out that the device will have an Exynos 7885 or 9610 chipset and 4GB of RAM. The FHD display will measure 5.7 inches and the phone will also come with a 16-megapixel front camera and a 16-megapixel rear one. We do not know yet any details about the Galaxy A3 phone.
