The two popular consoles have been fighting each other for popularity for many years and it seems that Xbox One X could be the winner this year, at least according to BetaDwarf CEO.
Xbox One X fans are receiving what they have asked for
The console is set to be released in November and according to a developer, the differences between this console and PS4 Pro are big.
BetaDwarf CEO Steffen Kabbelgaaard has declared via Gamingbolt that the strength of the Xbox One X console is the ease of porting to PC and to the console with the UWP. Even if the compatibility of Xbox One X and Xbox One will be weaker, the same will happen to PS4 and PS4 Pro.
The difference should not be so visible with small games, but very important for those playing triple-A blockbusters. This implies a more stable frame rate and more games running 4K. Even so, there are still game studios which do not take advantage of the power offered by the console. Such as example is Destiny 2, game which uses 30-frames per second on Xbox One X. The new console is able of running 60 frames per second.
Xbox One X features
The new console has a 30 % faster CPU and a 4.6 GPU, much more powerful than the predecessor. The 8 GB of memory, compared to the 5 GB of the predecessor, allows the console to process art assets and run 4 K resolutions visuals at high speed.
Other specs of the Xbox One X include the CPU Eight custom x86 cores (clocked at 2.3GHz), CPU 40 customized compute units (1172MHz) and a memory bandwidth of 326GB/s. The hard drive of the new console is of 1TB 2.5-ich and it uses a optical drive 4K UHD Blu-ray.
