The Chinese smartphone manufacturer has finally introduced the new Oxygen Open Beta 23 and 14 for the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T devices. The new software comes with new features and improvements.
What the Oxygen Open Beta 23 has to offer
The new software update included a battery level indicator found on the lift-up display, an alphabetical bar, which makes finding contacts a lot easier and it changed the screen calibration. Another new improvement is the higher speed for loading images. There is also a camera option allowing users to use the Short on OnePlus watermark on images with a name.
The system of the Open Beta
The new software allows the hiding of notification content from apps which are locked by the App locker. There is also improvement of Parallel apps and the color calibration tends towards sRGB calibration. An E-warranty card was added. It can be found in “About phone-E-warranty card”. The Android patches were updated.
The clock has a new alarm feature: Alarm calendar, which can be used to set irregular alarm schedules. To activate the feature, users need to hit the 3 dot menu button to the right.
It appears that with the new update, users will not be able to turn on the flashlight. To restore normal functionality, users need to reboot the smartphone.
OnePlus 3 devices
