Nintendo confirmed on Tuesday Bayonetta 2 and gave information on everything regarding it. The game will arrive on the Nintendo Switch console and it will bring a twin pack including the original story and the Wii U follow-up. More updates will be released as well as new modes.

Nintendo UK revealed more information

According to Nintendo UK, the Switch version of Bayonetta 2 will be compatible with the line of amiibo figurines. There will be costumes and weapons from the original game and players will be able to unlock them. The unlockables can be possessed without owning amiibo figures. Everyone is wondering which amiibo figures will be released on the Nintendo Switch version of the game.

More features released with the Bayonetta 2 game

Some of the features coming with the game are touch controls on the Switch screen and a multiplayer feature, dubbed “Tag Climax”. This multiplayer mode will be different than the Wii U version and players are not to be limited to only online gameplay. The local multiplayer is open for everyone owning a copy of Bayonetta 2 on the Switch.

Some have speculated that some of the weapons and costumes to be released with the game are going to be created based on Star Fox, Metroid and other super popular characters from Nintendo titles.

So far Nintendo has not confirmed any rumor regarding the costumes. There are many options, including Princess Peach, Daisy, Samus, Pikachu, Bowser, Link and many others.
