Google’s latest mobile operating system is Android 8.0 Oreo and according to the latest reports, it is already rolling to all Nexus and Pixel handsets that have joined the Android BETA program. In fact, Verizon has already started pushing the OTA update to Pixel and Pixel XL handsets that it has sold.
At the same time, the Android 8.0 Oreo has already been spotted arriving on many other carriers across the globe, for supported Nexus and Pixel devices, such as: Nexus 5X, Nexus Player, Nexus 6P, Pixel XL and Pixel C. In other words, the new Android 8.0 Oreo is currently “hitting” almost every device owned by Google.
The big search engine company has already uploaded the factory images and OTA zip files for anyone who wants to download it. In other words, if you are not a patient person and want to get the Android 8.0 Oreo as soon as possible, then just go to this Google web page and download the OTA zip file for your handset. After downloading the zip file to your handset, you will be able to manually install the Android 8.0 Oreo on it.
We have to mention that the build number is OPR6.170623.011 for Pixel XL and Pixel handsets on Telus, Bell, Telstra, T-Mobile, US Cellular, Sprint, and OPR6.170623.012 for every other carrier.
On the other hand, the Nexus 6P has the build number that ends with 013, but Google mentioned that this is not working for handsets from US Cellular or T-Mobile carriers. The build that ends with 013 is for Nexus 5X, while the Pixel C has the one ending with 010.
