MacBook Air 2018 will be released by Apple with a series of big surprises but some of them could disappoint some of the American company’s fans. The MacBook Air 2018 has already been announced for launch in 2018 and Apple intends to bring it to market during this year’s summer for those who are still interested in the series.
MacBook Air 2018 will have LG-made displays
The MacBook Air 2018 is expected to include a 13.3-inch screen, identical to the one used in the MacBook Pro, with a resolution of 2,560×1,600 pixels.
Apple will pack its future MacBook Air 2018 with the new Retina Display. Apple decided to buy the displays from LG after it tried to buy some cheaper screens from China but did not find the desired quality.
The MacBook Air 2018 will have the new displays delivered by LG somewhere in April and the production of the new Apple’s laptops should begin by the end of May or early June.
Quanta will produce 70% of the units of the new MacBook Air 2018, while Foxconn will produce 30% of them, and the new laptop should be announced at WWDC 2018 in June.
Will the future MacBook Air 2018 as cheap as Apple announced?
The MacBook Air 2018 has already been announced as a cheaper laptop that Apple wants to launch for it customers, in order to increase sales for the mode. However, it looks like the price is going to be similar to the current one, especially since Apple decided to include Retina Display for the MacBook Air 2018.
The MacBook Air 2018 is about to be produced in approximately 6 million units in 2018, so Apple doesn’t seem to have big expectations about the sales of their new product.
The big problem will be that the Apple fans expected the new MacBook Air 2018 to be cheap, and with a Retina Display it could have a higher price than some of the company’s client would like.
However, the MacBook Air 2018 will come with LG-made Retina Displays, thus, we should expect high-quality displays.
