I have to admit, the Bitcoin (BTC) appreciation since its emergence was a tremendous one among all the other crypto coins. However, there are many other crypto coins to invest in. In my opinion, you should watch these Bitcoin alternatives in 2018.

Ripple (XRP)

Ripple (XRP) is the 3rd coin by its market cap. Besides, the XRP is backed up by a tremendous network.

Ripple (XRP) was designed to be an update to the regular blockchain technology. In fact, Ripple company is offering a very fast and secure way to fulfill transactions. And all this is dedicated to banks and financial institutions.

Ripple (XRP) has already signed up some very important partnerships:

  • MoneyGram tested the Ripple network and they stated to us XRP when needed;
  • Mercury FX and IDT Corporation (a telecom company) are already using Ripple network;
  • The National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) recently partnered up with Ripple (XRP);

Besides, Ripple (XRP) network is already used by some banks.

At this moment, Ripple (XRP) is trading at $1.03.

Litecoin (LTC)

Litecoin (LTC) is the 6th coin by market cap.

It emerged in 2011 and it was a copy of the Bitcoin (BTC) blockchain technology.

Bitcoin (BTC) and Litecoin (LTC) were meant to be exactly like the Gold and Silver commodities of the FOREX and stock market.

Surprisingly, Bitcoin (BTC) went to the Moon, while the Litecoin (LTC) was left behind.

Well, not true, totally. The Litecoin (LTC) blockchain has one big advantage over the Bitcoin (BTC) blockchain – it is way faster!

Ethereum (ETH)

Ethereum (ETH) has been created by Vitalik Buterin, a teenager hacker, with a great passion for mathematics and IT.

Today, Ethereum (ETH) is trading at $844.80 after a 2.47% decrease. The ETH is struggling to recover to around $1,000, its value of before the market crisis at the beginning of this month.

Ethereum (ETH) is predicted to worth $1,200 by the end of 2018, and $2,600 by the end of 2020.
