How to play it on Nexus 6P running Android 8.1?
We know that the stickers are coded only to the Pixel Google smartphones but, who said we cannot cheat a little?
Firstly, we have to modify the device’s name since the app works only if the device is a Google brand and is called marlin, sailfish, walleye, or taimen. How is that possible? Download and install the ARCore app and the AR Stickers app first.
Secondly, you have to download and install BuildProp Editor and to find and change “ro.build.product”, “ro.product.name”, “ro.product.device”, and “ro.product.model” to equal “marlin”, followed by a reboot.
After this step, download the More Shortcuts app because we want to make a shortcut in order to launch the AR Stickers, open it and select “Activity”. Find the Stickers, tap on “MainActivity” and add the shortcut to your launcher. The last step is to go back to your launcher and tap on the shortcut made to open the AR Stickers.

For running on other non-Google devices, XDA Senior Member Arnova8G2 adjusted the AR stickers, AR Core and Google Camera APKs. You can do the same if you follow the steps below.
In the first place, install the modified ARCore and AR Stickers APKs and download the “calibration_cad.xml”. Use any other root-enabled file explorer or install MiXplorer and move calibration_cad.xml to/system/etc. In the second place you have to download and install BuildProp Editor from the Play Store, open it and add the following: “ro.config.calibration_cad=/system/etc/calibration_cad.xml”. The last step is to install any of the Google Camera APKs: GCam5_5.1.018, MGC_5.1.018, or GoogleCamera_5.1.018, open the Google Camera you chose and search for the AR Stockers on the menu.
Until the Sticker’s official release to other devices, you can check for a specific calibration_cad.xml for your device and try one of the options above, or maybe by checking the XDA forum, you’ll find someone that already made the changes on your model.
