iPhone 9 is expected to be Apple’s greatest surprise for 2018 as the future smartphone has already been presented as a major change for the iPhone series. However, only some pieces of the puzzles have been presented and there’s nothing official on the release date. But, thanks to some rumors we can make an idea about iPhone specifications and release date.
iPhone 9 will be full-screen
iPhone 9 is set to be launched by Apple with a full-screen LCD display that has a diagonal of 6.1 inches, so it will cover a larger surface than the iPhone X screen, for example.
That means the iPhone 9 is going to be bigger than the iPhone X or iPhone 8, so we can expect to be somewhere between the iPhone XS and the iPhone XS Plus.
iPhone 9 specifications
The future iPhone 9 will also have a bigger battery capacity of 2850-2950 mAh.
Apple will use a smaller logic board in the iPhone 9 than the iPhone X, but the battery will not be L-shaped but will be rectangular, as in the case of the iPhone 8 Plus, so we’re talking about increasing its size to have more capacity.
Apple plans not to offer 4 GB RAM, as in the iPhone XS, but only 3 GB of RAM, as in the iPhone X, so iPhone 9 will also have problems in running multiple background apps.
In short, iPhone 9 is announcing major upgraded when compared to iPhone 8.
Apple iPhone 9 Release Date
As I’ve already told you, there is no official release date. However, Apple is following a traditional pattern when it comes to its devices’ launching dates.
Accordingly, to those patterns, it is most probably to see iPhone 9 on the shelves starting with September 2018. And because the Apple’s tradition has to be respected it will be on a Friday.
Some rumors even state that the iPhone 9 will be released on September 21st, also a Friday.
How much iPhone 9 will cost?
Here, the opinions are mixed.
Some say that the future iPhone 9 will cost between $700 and $900, while others say that it will cost above $1,000.
