Netflix is the world’s leading subscription service for watching TV episodes as movies on your phone.
The Netflix mobile app delivers the best experience anytime and anywhere. You can get the free Netflix app as a part of your member Netflix membership and you can also instantly watch thousands of TV episodes and movies on your phone.
The app was updated on May 14 and according to user opinions, the recent update to the on-screen interface is amazing and much more user-friendly.
Users seem to be really impressed with Netflix productions at the moment, even if they were not that thrilled about the last price increase.
You can now skip annoying intros
Sometimes, shows’ intros can slow down marathons and this can get annoying for some users. but now, Netflix solved this issue.
It seems that we’ll finally be able to skip boring Netflix intros when watching a show with your Chromecast.
The feature was already available on desktop and mobile devices for quite a while but, for Chromecast users, it’s just debuting.
When you are streaming shows to a Chromecast or other cast-enabled device, the Android app comes with a button to skip the intro.
The skip button works by appearing within the controller interface on the phone app and this makes sense because the Chromecast does not add any new input functionality to the screen that it’s attached to unless it’s paired to a Google Home.
Make sure you’re using the updated version of the app
If you don’t see the button, you have to make sure that you are using the latest version of the Netflix app.
This feature can only be used with a Chromecast that is connected to an Android device. An iOS version of the skip intro feature is expected to be added sometime in the future.
