In terms of processing power, Redmi Note 5 will be powered by either Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 630 or 660. Both processors are built on a 14nm architecture but the latter is a bit more powerful. Although, Xiaomi needs to be careful about what processor it chooses since it will affect the smartphone’s price.
One of the most important hardware upgrades that Redmi Note 5 features in comparison with Redmi Note 4 is the 4,100 mAh battery. Things get even better though since this large 4,100 mAh battery will also be equipped with QuickCharge 3.0 technology that is compatible with USB-C ports.
Fortunately, the Redmi Note 5 leak also revealed the smartphone’s price. Therefore, the 3GB RAM/32GB storage model will cost $175 while the 4GB RAM/32GB model will be priced at $205 and lastly, the premium 4GB RAM/64GB variant will cost $220.
