The smartphone market used to be dominated by Samsung, Google and Apple. However, things have changed ever since Chinese based tech companies such as OnePlus, Huawei and Xiaomi have started releasing their smartphones on the global market. Talking about Chinese based tech companies, we have to note that 2018 has been a great year for Xiaomi. This company launched Poco F1 earlier this year and the smartphone became a bestseller. Therefore, it should come as no surprise that Xiaomi is already working on Poco F1’s successor.

Poco F1 sold really well in 2018 and Xiaomi didn’t waste any time designing the next-generation Poco F2. In fact, the smartphone has been spotted on GeekBench today. This is great news for Xiaomi fans who are looking forward to Poco F2 because the GeekBench listing reveals the smartphone’s hardware power.

Poco F2 Spotted on GeekBench

Right from the start, the most important thing that the GeekBench listing of Poco F2 reveals is that the smartphone is not going to be fueled by Qualcomm’s next-generation Snapdragon 855 processor and instead it will use Snapdragon 845.

Nonetheless, this is a powerful octa-core processor that managed to score 7,564 points in the GeekBench multi-core test and 2,321 points in the single-core test. We should also note that Xiaomi has paired the Snapdragon 845 CPU with the whopping amount of 6GB RAM!

Sleek Design

What’s great about Poco F2 is the fact that this is an affordable mid-range smartphone that will feature a sleek design that looks incredible. Xiaomi equipped Poco F1 with a design that was similar to iPhone X, but from the looks of it, Xiaomi has decided to take things to the next-level when designing Poco F2. This smartphone looks spectacular and the innovative design is surely going to give it an edge over its competition.
