Xiaomi recently announced that it has a big press conference planned for September 19th. The Chinese based tech giant is going to use that press conference as an opportunity to announce the brand-new Mi 8 Youth Edition and to show the flagship smartphone to the entire world.

The awesome thing about the tech industry is that fans never need to wait until the official press conference comes around in order to see how a next-generation smartphone looks like because everything gets leaked and this is exactly what just happened with Mi 8 Youth Edition.

Even though Mi 8 Youth Edition is one week away from launching, an official press render of the upcoming smartphone has surfaced on the web. The press render shows us what the rear side of Mi 8 Youth Edition will look like. Not just that, but the press render also reveals that Xiaomi’s new smartphone will be available in the Gradient color model.

Since we are talking about Mi 8 Youth Edition, let’s take a look at what type of hardware specs this smartphone will have to offer. Mi 8 Youth Edition will hold the title of being a flagship smartphone and this means that Xiaomi needs to equip it with cutting-edge hardware since this smartphone will represent the best that it has to offer.

Mi 8 Youth Edition will ship with a 6.26-inches Full HD display which features a pixel resolution of 2280 x 1080 and 2.5D curved glass. If we take a look under Mi 8 Youth Edition’s hood, we will see a Snapdragon 710 CPU. This chipset features eight cores and it clocks at 2.2GHz. As if the Snapdragon 710 CPU wasn’t powerful enough, Xiaomi made sure to pair with 8GB and 6GB of RAM, depending on the acquired model.
