Verizon just announced a brand new partnership with Apple that will allow the company to offer subscribers of its Verizon Unlimited tier six free months of Apple Music.
Verizon claims that this is only the beginning of its exclusive partnership with Apple.
The offer is open to both new and existing Verison Unlimited customers and to the new and existing Apple Music subscribers.
According to Verizon, Apple Music current subscribers will get the ability to lock in the same six months of free listening as new subscribers.
Verizon’s vice president of marketing Angie Klein claims that this is just the beginning, but she did not explain what more should be expected in the future.
“This first-of-its-kind offer is just the first step in an exclusive partnership with Apple,” said Angie Klein.
“It gives our customers exactly what they want: Apple’s best-in-class music streaming experience, paired with an unlimited plan tailored to them, on the network they deserve. And now that you can mix and match our unlimited plans, every person in your family can stream worry-free on the unlimited plan they need, without paying for things they don’t – and enjoy all the music they want for six months free with Apple Music with this exclusive offer in the U.S.”
Verizon revealed three unlimited plans
Verizon unveiled its three Unlimited plans earlier this year, and it offered three tiers and all of them qualify for this Apple Music deal.
It’s also important to note that customers will be able to secure the deal starting on August 16 by heading to the official website.
“Today, Verizon and Apple announced an exclusive partnership, the first step of which brings Apple Music to Verizon’s wireless customers. Beginning August 16, Verizon Unlimited customers can sign up for a special offer of six months of Apple Music free,” notes the official press release.
