Tron founder Justin Sun was invited for a lengthy interview with the Crypto Lark on YouTube.
The two of them talk about Trion’s virtual machine, BitTorrent integration and also transaction speed.
Justin Sub also addressed the elements that he believed are needed for the next bull run to come and also makes sure to compare his platform with the ones of Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, and Stellar.
The interview also offers some fascinating insight at the early days of the Internet and Sun describes how it got co-opted by tech giants Google and Facebook.
Tron combats corporate greed
This interview comes after a really important statement that was recently made by Sun.
Tron reveals a grand vision that they have by sending new mission statement to all of its employees in China and the U.S.
The statement tracked the history of the Internet and describes the corporate takeover by tech titans who are too focused on profit instead of people, just like Sun said in the interview presented above.
“The Internet was decentralized when it was first created. Since Web 1.0 in the 80s, we believed that Internet services should be built upon an open protocol shared by the web community. Since then, we’ve created open protocol standards like TCP/IP and HTTP,” Justin Sun begins the statement. You can read the complete note here.

To mark this great occasion, the platform also announced an airdrop of up to 9,000,000 TRX tokens.
Meanwhile, the Tron community has elected BitTorrent as one of the 27 super representatives that will power the Tron network.
