iOS 11 was released to the public on September 19th. This is Apple’s biggest operating system update in a couple of months and it contains a bunch of cool features. Even though the update can be downloaded by iPhone and iPod touch devices, iPads are the ones who benefit the most from it. Today we will take a look at some of the best features that iOS 11 brings to iPads and what they can be used for.

Improved Control Center

The three-panel control center was introduced with iOS 10 and now Apple is enhancing it even more. The new update transforms the Control Center into a single screen experience and it makes use of iPad’s 3D Touch technology. For example, iPad owners can press firmly on the Music panel and the album cover art, volume slider and track progress will pop up. While this might not be such a groundbreaking change, it’s still nice to have it.

Some other interesting changes that iPad owners will be able to notice in the newly redesigned Control Center is the addition of new icons such as the Apple TV remote and Wallet cards. These can be enabled and customized by accessing the following: Settings – Control Center – Customize Controls.

New App Store

Even though this update is not exclusive to iPad owners, its still one of the biggest changes that iOS 11 brings. The App store has been completely redesigned in order to provide users with a smoother experience. Everything is so much easier to find and the new App store design encourages people to explore and discover.

Siri Update

Apple’s artificial assistant, Siri, is one of the key features that make Apple devices great. Siri now received support translation from US to Italian, French, Chinese, Spanish and German. In addition, Siri also received a new U.S. language female voice that’s specially designed to show off more personality.
