IFA Berlin is right around the corner and that’s when Sony is expected to unveil Xperia XZ1 Compact. The smartphone is said to be packed with high-end hardware parts which make it powerful enough to compete against the likes of Galaxy S8 and Apple’s upcoming iPhone 8. As we all can clearly see in the featured picture, Sony’s upcoming smartphone looks quite sleek. The simplistic design, warm color and smart camera placement makes Xperia XZ1 Compact quite unique. We have to give it to Sony for not following what everyone is doing in terms of design and for having the courage of walking on its own path.
The smartphone’s launch date is not available right now but we are almost sure that it’s going to come out of the shadows during the upcoming IFA tech event which takes places in Berlin. The event starts on Friday, September 1st and it lasts until September 6th. Moreover, the reason why we believe Xperia XZ1 Compact will be unveiled during that time span is because Sony has made it a tradition to unveil new devices during IFA.
Now that we know how Xperia XZ1 Compact will look, let’s also check out what specs Sony is expected to equip it with. The smartphone will ship with a 4.6-inch IPS LCD panel which renders pictures and videos at a full HD pixel resolution of 1080 x 1920. In terms of power, Xperia XZ1 will be equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 CPU. The processor clocks at 2.45Ghz and it is coupled with an Adreno 540 graphics processing unit alongside 4GB of RAM.
