Over the past few weeks, there has been a lot of talk about Samsung Galaxy Note 9 which is expected to be released later this summer.
So, before the expected official presentation, there have been a series of leaks on Galaxy Note 9’s specs and its release date.
At the same time, the same company is expected to launch two other top-of-the-range handsets such as the Galaxy X and the Samsung Galaxy S10 within a year timeframe, although, for the time being, we have to focus on the before-mentioned Samsung Galaxy Note 9.
As regarding the Galaxy Note 9 release date, this year, Samsung announced its intention to roll out the next flagship phone in July, instead of mid-August, the traditional release date for Samsung’s Note models.
Samsung opted for this, in order to distance itself from the next iPhone release.
Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Release Date
Until recently, July 29th has been rumored to be the Galaxy Note 9 release date.
However, according to a more recent leak, it has been announced that Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will come out on August 9th.
Thus, while it is still earlier than originally expected, the new release date indicates that Samsung had to delay the official announcement of the upcoming flagship smartphone.
Galaxy Note 9 – Specs
Apparently, the forthcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will not represent a revolutionary upgrade when compared with its predecessor, the Galaxy Note 8, at least in terms of design.
Thus, we should expect thin edges, a high screen-to-body ratio, and aluminum finishes.
It will pack a 6.3-inch display with 18:5:19 aspect ratio and AMOLED technology.
Under the hood, the Galaxy Note 9 will most likely boast Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 (or Samsung Exynos, depending on region), at least 6 Gb RAM, and 64 Gb internal storage (at least).
As for the cameras, Note 9 might boast a dual camera setup on the back and one selfies camera on the front, all similar to what we already have on Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus.
Besides, it has also been announced that Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will come out with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
