Samsung managed to take the smartphone industry by storm when it launched its highly anticipated Galaxy S9 flagship. However, this was to be expected since Samsung does this every single year and the only other smartphone that can “steal” some customers from Galaxy S9 is none other than Samsung’s own Galaxy Note 9.
Galaxy Note 9 Receives Certification in China
Even though Samsung does not want to unveil when Galaxy Note 9 will be made available for purchase, we have reason to believe that its going to happen sooner than expected. Galaxy Note 9 recently received certification in China and this leads to believe that the premium Samsung smartphone is going to be available in local tech stores during the upcoming future.
With that being said, let’s check out what type of features Galaxy Note 9 will have to offer and find out if it will be able to top Galaxy S9.
The Galaxy Note lineup is renowned for big displays and therefore, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that Galaxy Note 9 will be equipped with a huge 6.4-inch Super AMOLED panel. Moreover, the panel will feature a high pixel resolution of 1440 x 2960 and a 514ppi density.
To make things even better, the huge display is HDR10 compliant and it has been coated in Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for additional protection against scratched and cracks. Obviously, this will be an edge-to-edge screen which looks amazing.
Taking in consideration the fact that Galaxy Note 9 will represent the best that Samsung to offer, the South Korean tech giant made sure to equip it with one of Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 845 processors that clocks at 2.7GHz Kyro 385 Gold. The smartphone will also be available with Samsung’s own Exynos 8910 Octa CPU and both processor will ship alongside 6GB RAM.
