If you have experienced VR gaming and have wondered what it would be like to play the upcoming Resident Evil 7 in that environment, well, very soon you will find out what it’s like. And by soon, we mean next year.
Resident Evil 7 was announced a few months ago at the E3 2016 event and it is scheduled for release in 2017 for Xbox One, PlayStation and, more importantly, for the PlayStation Virtual Reality version.
As you may know, Resident Evil is one of the most popular horror games of all times and if you don’t know it as a gamer, you surely know about the many movies that were made based on the game’s story entitled Resident Evil and starring the lovely Mila Jovovich.
The first game was released in 1996 and close to 20 editions followed after, selling a total of 50 million units. It has been branded as the first survival horror game and its plotline is based around a virus created by an evil corporation that turns people into zombies or monsters and the characters in the game have to fight against the creatures and the corporation.
The 7th installment in the game series entitled Resident Evil: Biohazard will be played from a first person perspective and it will feature weapons and artifacts. It was announced that it will come with new characters and that it will also be set in rural mansion in America which was also the place where the initial storyline begins.
If you are interested in checking out the game before its release, there are some teasers and demos that its developers have made available. One of these teasers is Beginning Hour where the main character has to escape the house. While being trapped there, he interacts with various objects and artifacts in the house and learns more about the house’s story, about a missing family, a mysterious son and a TV crew whose producer dies while filming the house for a paranormal show.
The end of the demo game will be different depending on how much the player interacts with the objects.
