Red Dead Redemption 2 Special Edition Unveiled Ahead of Launch

E3 is only a couple days away and that’s where Rockstar Games will unveil gameplay footage and additional details about the highly anticipated Red Dead Redemption 2. However, the game developer decided that it doesn’t want to wait until June 9th for E3 to kick off and decided to announce that there will be three different editions of Red Dead Redemption 2 which players can purchase.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Pre-Orders

Rockstar Games announced that fans can pre-order Red Dead Redemption 2 starting today. The game is scheduled to come out on October 26th, but eager fans will receive in-game goodies, bonuses and cool outfits if they decide to pre-order one of the special editions of Red Dead Redemption 2.

The War Horse Bonus

Everyone who pre-orders Red Dead Redemption 2 will receive bonus in-game content that will make the story mode a little bit more immersive. The first bonus is the War Horse which Rockstar Games says that it will have “greater courage and stamina than the average steed”.

The Outlaw Survival Kit Bonus

The second in-game bonus that people who pre-order Red Dead Redemption 2 will receive is the Outlaw Survival Kit. This kit is going to prove to be quite useful since it features multiple items which refill stat meters, thus making the main character more powerful.

Three Special Editions

The standard Red Dead Redemption 2 edition will cost $59.99. The Special Edition of the game will cost $79.99 and the Ultimate Edition will be priced at $99.99.

We should also mention that all three versions of the game are available in digital form and that the physical form will ship with a printed map of the game world that is packed in a cool looking Steelbook case.

Nonetheless, E3 is not that far away and we can be sure that Rockstar Games is planning to unveil awesome gameplay in order to get fans hyped up.
