Red Dead Redemption 2 Gameplay Trailer Reveals Protagonist, Immersive Bandit Story and Cool Gunplay

Red Dead Redemption 2 is one of the most highly anticipated games of 2018 and it is scheduled to launch on October 26th. Even though we will need to wait a couple more months until we can play Red Dead Redemption 2, Rockstar Games has decided to release a six-minute long video that reveals what the gameplay is going to feel like and we have to say that it looks amazing!

Immersive Story

While the first Red Dead Redemption game is renowned for being a massive success and for giving people a chance to live out their fantasy of being a cowboy, Red Dead Redemption 2 is going to take things to the next level! Red Dead Redemption 2 lets players step in the shoes of Arthur Morgan who is a senior trusted gun in the “Van der Linde” gang.

The Protagonist

The cool thing about Arthur Morgan is that the player himself will decide the protagonist’s path in life. Therefore, players will get to choose just how honorable or evil Arthur Morgan is by making choices in the game such as choosing to scare off witnesses or to killing them for example.

Incredible Graphics

What stands out the most about this recent gameplay footage released by Rockstar Games is the incredible video quality. The game looks fantastic, but that’s not the best thing!

Red Dead Redemption 2 uses a special engine that adds immersive physics to the game. For example, the video will show you that everything is attached to the horse (saddle and gun) and they will jump around as the horse is running.

Leaving the immersive story and incredible graphics aside, Red Dead Redemption 2’s gunplay is what really matters. The video trailer shows us that Red Dead Redemption 2’s gunplay is similar to real life and that players will really need to master their aim if they want to become a successful bandit
