Razer is one of the most successful companies when it comes to creating gaming peripherals. Some of the company’s most famous peripherals are the Razer Naga and Razer Mamba. However, Razer also creates other types of devices and it recently ventured into the smartphone world with the Razer Phone.
This handheld device has been designed for mobile gaming and it’s a best seller. Therefore, no one should be shocked to find out that a new Razer Phone 2 has been spotted on the AnTuTu benchmark website.
Razer Phone 2
The interesting thing about Razer Phone 2 is the fact that Razer didn’t mention anything about it in all its latest press conferences. This leads us to believe that Razer might be wanting to take its fanbase by surprise, but this latest AnTuTu benchmark leak is ruining that plan. Nonetheless, let’s check out what type of specs Razer Phone 2 will have to offer.
The benchmark leak shows us that Razer Phone 2 will run on Google’s Android 8.10 Oreo operating system and that it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 CPU. This is the most powerful mobile CPU available on the market and Razer has paired it with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage space.
Also, worth mentioning is that Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 CPU ships bundled with an Adreno 630 graphics processing unit that will help the smartphone run all heavy-duty games.
The smartphone will feature the same Sharp IGZO display technology like the original Razer Phone. However, the new model will feature a higher pixel resolution of 2560 x 1440p.
This display has been specially optimized for mobile gaming and from the looks of it, Razer Phone 2 will offer the best mobile gaming experience. Some are even saying that it will be able to run better Fortnite than Samsung’s latest Galaxy Note 9 does.
