Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL are scheduled to come out on October 18th and the internet is buzzing with rumors and speculations in anticipation for the two “pure” Android smartphones to be launched. Fortunately for us and other Android fans, a new leak that comes from the Twitter account “PhoneDesigner” is showing us an official press render of Pixel 3 XL and the color options that it will be available in.
Pixel 3 XL Color Options
The highly anticipated smartphone will be available in three colors and they all look amazing! We think it’s safe to assume that the smaller Pixel 3 will also be listed in the same color options. The most exciting thing that we can take from this newly leaked press render is that just like rumors have been saying, Pixel 3 XL will feature a top-notch display cutout.
Apple was the company to release the first smartphone which features a top-notch display cutout (iPhone X) and the Cupertino based tech giant received lots of criticism because of this. Fans complained that the top-notch hinders their ability to watch videos in their full resolution, but it looks like Google has a different opinion.
The fact that Pixel 3 XL will ship with a top-notch display cutout is quite intriguing because Pixel 3 XL will represent Google’s vision of a “perfect Android powered smartphone” while iPhone is the iOS flagship. Nonetheless, let’s check out what type of specs Pixel 3 XL will have to offer.
Pixel 3 XL will ship with a 6.2-inch display that uses QHD+ technology which offers a pixel resolution of 2880 x 1440 and a pixel density of 517 ppi.
Moreover, the smartphone will be fueled by an octa-core Snapdragon 845 CPU that’s bundled with an Adreno 630 graphics processing unit and 6GB of RAM.
