Even though Galaxy Note 9 is scheduled to launch tomorrow and Apple is planning to reveal three iPhones in September, this doesn’t mean that smartphone fans need to pick between these two companies. Chinese tech companies like Meizu keep releasing high-end smartphones that somehow manage to combine affordable prices with powerful specs. Therefore, opting for a Meizu flagship smartphone instead of paying more than $1,000 for one of Apple’s next-generation iPhone might be the wise thing to do.

Meizu 16

As previously mentioned, Meizu launched a bunch of high-end smartphones during the past couple of months, but something even more impressive is coming soon! Meizu 16 will be the company’s flagship smartphone and its expected to launch in Fall. Fortunately for us, the smartphone’s innovative design has just been leaked.

Innovative Design

The new leak reveals to us that Meizu 16 will feature a bezel-less display and an in-display fingerprint scanner! This is great news since Samsung and Apple have been trying to introduce in-display fingerprints on their flagship smartphones but failed. This cool feature might give Meizu 16 an edge over Galaxy Note 9 and the upcoming iPhone X.

Key Specs

Since Meizu 16 will hold the title of being the company’s flagship smartphone, no one should be shocked to find out that Meizu has decided to equip it only with the best hardware parts available on the market. Therefore, Meizu 16 will feature a 6.5-inches display that uses Super AMOLED technology. In addition, the display offers a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels

Leaving the display aside, Meizu 16’s most important hardware part is the Snapdragon 845 CPU that hides under its hood. This is an octa-core processor that clocks at 2.8GHz 360 Gold and it’s paired with an Adreno 616 GPU and 6GB/8GB of RAM.
