Samsung recently announced that it plans to unveil the highly anticipated Galaxy Note 9 in August during a special “Unpacked” event that will be hosted at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. However, Galaxy Note 9 is not the only device that Samsung is planning to unveil since recent leaks are hinting that the tech giant has finished designing Galaxy Tab S4 and that the tablet will be revealed at the same time with Galaxy Note 9.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S4
Even though Samsung didn’t say anything about Galaxy Tab S4 during this past couple of months, a new leak surfaced and it shows us that the tablet is finished.
Moreover, the leak shows us that Galaxy Tab S4 features thin bezels which gives it a sleek look and better media viewing abilities. Not just that, but the tablet is expected to have a bigger aspect ration than the current Galaxy Tab S3 which features a 4:3 ratio.
Missing Home Button
The most interesting thing that we can take from this Galaxy Tab S4 leak is that the tablet doesn’t have a home button and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
This leads us to believe that Samsung will either go with an Iris scanner or an in-display fingerprint scanner. If this proves to be true, then Galaxy Tab S4 will truly be Samsung’s most impressive tablet yet.
This isn’t the first time that key information about Galaxy Tab S4 leaked out since the tablet was also spotted on a benchmarking listing where it showed that it’s powered by an octa-core 2.3GHz CPU which is paired with an Adreno 540 graphics processing unit.
Furthermore, the benchmarking listing unveiled that Galaxy Tab S4 will feature 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage space and a dual camera setup of 12MP + 8 MP.
