After months of waiting for this information to come out, Samsung decided to announce that Galaxy Note 9 will be unveiled on August 9th at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. However, the South Korean based tech giant didn’t want to unveil any additional information about the upcoming phablet in order to use the element of surprise when it unveils the new features that it has to offer.
Galaxy Note 9 Leak
On the bright side of things, the leakster known as “Ice Universe” on Twitter keeps releasing new information about Galaxy Note 9. To make things even better, the leakster has an impeccable reputation for predicting upcoming Samsung devices and this makes all his leaks plausible. Nonetheless, the latest leak to come from Ice Universe is saying that Galaxy Note 9’s S Pen will be a Bluetooth device.
The S Pen is a Bluetooth Device
“The Galaxy Note9 S Pen can be used to control long-range self-timer, control music playback, because it is a Bluetooth device, it will do something unrelated to the pen,” said the leakster in a recent Twitter post.
From the looks of it, Galaxy Note 9 owners will be able to control music through the brand-new S Pen. While this might not be a groundbreaking feature by any means, we do have to admit that it’s a nice touch.
August 9th Launch Date
Unfortunately, there isn’t that much information about the S Pen. Samsung loves to keep reinventing the S Pen with every new Galaxy Note model, and we can be sure that the new Bluetooth device will be able to do much more than to only change the music.
We’ll have to wait until August 9th to find out everything there is to know about the upcoming Samsung flagship device.
