There used to be a time when HTC ruled the smartphone industry, but the tech giant was surpassed by the likes of Samsung, Apple, and Google. However, this doesn’t mean that HTC has given up on creating premium smartphones and the upcoming HTC U12 Life is the perfect example of that. HTC is getting ready to launch a new flagship smartphone called HTC U12 Life and codenamed as Imagine Life.

Even though HTC might not want to reveal any details about the new smartphone, we got lucky, and the folks at Android Authority managed to get their hands on a brand-new leak which shows us the smartphone’s entire full specs sheet.

HTC U12 Life Leak

Usually, smartphone leaks contain press renders of upcoming devices, but this one is special. Instead of showing us what HTC U12 Life’s will look like, the new leak contains HTC U12 Life’s full specs sheet which is way more important than the design. With that being said, let’s check out what type of hardware HTC U12 Life will have to offer.

Display Technology

HTC U12 Life will ship with a large 6.0-inch display that uses FHD+ technology. The big display makes HTC U12 Life a great device for watching media because it puts out a pixel resolution of 2160 x 1080. Moreover, the FHD+ display technology is known to offer warm colors which look just like OLED images.

Under the Hood

Leaving the display technology aside, the processor is the most important piece of hardware that a smartphone has to offer. Therefore, HTC fans should be happy to know that Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 636 CPU will fuel the upcoming flagship smartphone.

This is a mid-range processor which leads us to believe that HTC U12 Life will feature an affordable price tag. Furthermore, the CPU will be paired with 4GB of RAM and a 3,600 mAh battery.
