There are many rumors floating around about the upcoming MacBook Pro 2016 and Apple hasn’t revealed anything about it yet, not even at the WWDC event that took place this month, so people continue to speculate as to when it’ll be released.
Right now, both of the MacBook Pro 2015 variants, the 13 inch one and the 15 inch one along with the 12 inch Macbook are on sale, and their prices have been reduced dramatically – a fact which usually indicates that stores are trying to get rid of old devices in order to make room for new devices. This has led people to believe that it’s possible that that new device will be the MacBook Pro 2016.
The savings for the products on sale are the following: $350 for the 12 inch MacBook and either $100 or $250 for the 13 inch and 15 inch MacBook Pro 2015 variants, deppending on the store.
As you can see, the biggest sale is the one for the 12 inch MacBook in either the Gold or the Space Grey version and costs about $1249 without the $350 discount. The devices features a 1.3 GHz processor, 8GB of RAM plus 512 GB internal space for storage.
The 13 inch MacBook Pro 2015 comes with 3.1 GHz processor, 8GB of RAM plus 512 GB internal space for storage, while the 15 inch sports a MacBook Pro 2015 comes with 2.8 GHz processor, 16 GB of RAM plus 256 GB internal space for storage. The former costs about $1799 with all of the applied discounts and the latter is around $2049.
If the stores are indeed making room for the MacBook Pro 2016, you should probably know that the device is presumed to sport Intel Skylake chip processors, Touch ID and Siri for Mac. It will also run the MacOS Sierra.
