Galaxy Note 9 is scheduled to launch on August 9th during a special “Unpacked” event. Fortunately for us, we don’t have to wait until next month to see the design that Galaxy Note 9 will feature. The folks at AndroidHeadlines managed to get their hands on a press render of Galaxy Note 9 and today we are going to present everything there is to know about it.
Galaxy Note 9 Leaked Press Render
The first thing we need to mention about the newly leaked press render is that it doesn’t show any innovative design features. In fact, some might even say that Galaxy Note 9 looks way too similar to Galaxy Note 8.
This is bad news for Samsung since fans are bored of seeing the same Galaxy Note design and Galaxy Note 9 might not become a best seller. However, we should note that the bottom bezels seems to be a little thinner than Galaxy Note 8, but this is the only difference.
Even though Galaxy Note 9 will not ship with an innovative design, the device will still fit into the phablet category because it will feature a huge 6.4-inches display.
Moreover, the display uses Samsung’s trademark Super AMOLED technology which puts out a pixel resolution of 1440 x 2960. In addition, the display is coated with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for extra protection.
Considering that Samsung has not equipped Galaxy Note 9 with a cool looking design, it should come as no surprise that the South Korean tech giant has put all its attention on the device’s hardware specs.
Therefore, Galaxy Note 9 will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 CPU that features eight cores and clocks at 2.7GHz. To make things even better, Galaxy Note 9’s powerful CPU is paired with an Adreno 630 GPU and 6GB o RAM.
