One of the biggest names in the smartphone industry is undoubtedly Huawei. It seems like the smartphone industry has been flooded by Huawei devices. The Chinese manufacturer has made it clear its goal is to achieve the title of being known as the best smartphones manufacturer. In fact, Huawei wants to get rid of the stigma of being Google’s unknown hardware manufacturer. In order to achieve this goal, Huawei keeps launching great smartphones.

The reason we are talking about Huawei today is because the company recently unveiled its latest P10 flagship smartphone. This happened during the first day of the Mobile World Congress. We think it’s safe to say that Huwaei is going to generate huge amounts of profits with P10. The reason behind this is because the smartphone has been equipped with only high-end hardware pieces. Right now, we’re going to take a look under its hood and see what P10 has to offer in terms of hardware power.

Huawei P10: Hardware Power

The smartphone is fueled by the company’s own octa-core HiSilicon 960 chipset. Four cores have been clocked at 2.4GHz while the other four clock at 1.8GHz. The processor is really fast, but if it doesn’t sound too impressive readers should know that Huawei has also coupled the chipset with a Mali-G71 MP8 graphics processing unit and 4GB of RAM.

Huawei P10 impresses us in the battery department with a rather large non-removable Li-Ion 3,200 mAh battery. Additionally, the battery features fast charging functionalities and it’s able to last for hours on end even under mixed usage.

The device’s display shouldn’t be overlooked at all. Huawei has equipped the smartphone with a 5.1 inch IPS-NEO LCD panel which features 16 million colors. The display comes with a full HD 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution and a large pixel density of 432 ppi. This is quite impressive since the display is quite large.

Additionally, the panel has been coated in Corning Gorilla Glass 5. This improves its scratch and crack resistance by a large margin. Nonetheless, we think it’s safe to say that Huawei P10 is definitely a good purchase.
