We reported earlier today that Xiaomi showed off a $150 smartphone that ships with a 48MP dual camera setup during CES 2019, but Xiaomi wasn’t the only Chinese based tech company to get people talking about its latest smartphone.

Huawei also attended CES 2019 and it used the event as an opportunity to reveal its upcoming Honor View 20. This smartphone looks amazing and the greatest thing about it is that all smartphones that launch under Huawei’s Honor line are affordable. Nonetheless, today we are going to give you a rundown of what makes Honor View 20 special.

Huawei Honor View 20

The first thing that we want to mention about Honor View 20 is that the smartphone is already available in China. Huawei is not on good terms with the US  and therefore, we don’t know when or if Honor View 20 will arrive on the US market anytime soon. However, the Chinese variant of Honor View 20 is priced at $500 and this puts the smartphone in the mid-range category.

Punch-Hole Design

Despite being a $500 smartphone, Huawei has decided to equip Honor View 20 with the best full-screen available. The design that Honor View 20 uses is known as the “punch-hole” and it makes it possible for Huawei to slim down the bezels and offer a bigger screen-to-body ratio.

Under the Hood

Honor View 20 is powered by Huawei’s own-made Kirin 980 CPU that is paired with 6GB or 8GB of RAM. To make things even better, the CPU is also coupled to a 4,000 mAh battery that can last for days on and if these hardware specs are not that impressive to you, then maybe you should know that Honor View 20 is equipped with a 48MP primary camera. Now, this is impressive!
