Even though HTC might be doing its best to keep information about its upcoming HTC U12+ flagship smartphone a secret, the tech giant doesn’t seem to be able to stop leaks from pouring out. We got to see how HTC U12+ looks like a couple of days ago when a leak unveiled the smartphone’s price and design. However, HTC messed up it’s official unveiling which is scheduled to take place less than 24 hours and posted the official press render of HTC U12+ on social media.

While it might seem like HTC made a big mistake by unveiling what HTC U12+ looks like, this might not be the case. There is always the possibility that the tech giant wanted to create hype and to get to people to talk about its new release.

Nonetheless, the smartphone looks fantastic and there’s no doubt that. The sleek design is paired with a full-screen display which comes with a dual selfie camera setup and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Another highlight feature of HTC U12+ is the massive 3,500 mAh battery which supports quick charging. The smartphone also has an IP-68 rating for water and dust which makes it quite durable. Also, leaked HTC U12+ details are showing that the smartphone can be submerged up to 1.5 meters.
