Google has yet to announce the official launch date for Pixel 3 XL, but the Android parent is expected to reveal the upcoming flagship smartphone in October. Fortunately for us, we don’t have to wait that long until we can get a glimpse of Pixel 3 XL because a brand-new leak shows us what the smartphone will look like!
Pixel 3 XL Leak
The leak surfaced on the XDA-Developer forums and it confirms a bunch of important details about Pixel 3 XL. We also need to mention that these are the first live photos of Pixel 3 XL and that the expectations for this smartphone are set pretty high because Google needs to answer to Apple’s highly innovative iPhone X. Nonetheless, let’s check out what are the features that this latest leak unveils for us.
The most important feature that is being revealed by the new leak is the fact that Pixel 3 XL will ship with a top-notch display. Not just that, but the top-notch display contains a dual front-facing camera setup which means that Pixel 3 XL will feature a face-scanning system to unlock the smartphone, just like iPhone X! However, Pixel 3 XL will still be equipped with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 845 CPU will power pixel 3 XL and it will ship alongside an Adreno 630 GPU, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space. The display measures in at 6.2-inches and uses P-OLED technology which puts out a pixel resolution of 1440 x 3120.
Unfortunately, this is the only reliable information we have about the smartphone’s internal hardware specs and we need to wait until October or for a new leak to come out before we can get a better idea of what Pixel 3 XL’s hardware power will be capable of.
