Google announced Google One a few months ago. This is the new subscription program for getting more Google Drive storage and more great features.
Over the course of the last few months, Google has slowly tolled its existent Drive subscribers over to Google One membership.
New members can sign up
From now on, new members will be able to sign up for a One subscription as well.
Google One plans start at 100 GB for $1.99. There’s also a 200 GB tier for $2.99 and a 2 TB option for $9.99.
If you need an even more extended storage space, Google will sell you 10 TB, 20 TB, and 30 TB plans for between $99.99 and $299.99 per month.
One great functionality of these new plans is that you can share your storage allotment with up to five family members.
As you can see, storage is the main feature here, and Google also promised additional functionalities.
For instance, the most important one might be the access to live 24/7 support.
These Google experts will help all in need with any issues that they have about a Google product.
You will also be able to get details on hotels when you search them in Google Maps.
Recently Google also gave all its One members credits on Google Play, and the company said that it would soon offer deals for purchases in the Google Store via Google Express as well.
It’s also important to note that One is a consumer product. For businesses, Google’s G Suite remains the primary way to get more services and features.
Google One is only available in the US at the moment, but it will soon roll out to other countries as well.
