Google is Launching Three New Pixel Watch Models in 2018


Even though Samsung is currently ruling the smartphone industry with its latest Galaxy S9, things are expected to change once Google launches it highly anticipated Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. The two Google smartphones are expected to innovate the smartphone industry with their innovative features, new operating system, and powerful hardware specs.

New Pixel Smartwatch

Evan Blass is a professional tech leakster that has a good track record of predicting upcoming tech devices, and he is reporting that a new Pixel branded smartwatch is going to hit the markets by the end of 2018. This means that Google has decided to stop working with third-party manufacturers such as LG and Fossil and decided to create its own “pure” Android smartwatch.

Three Models

One of the most exciting leaks regarding Google’s upcoming smartwatch is that there will be three models of it. The models are codenamed as Ling, Triton, and Sardine. Although, this doesn’t mean that the three models are going to be that different regarding specs, just that some might ship with special features such as LTE connectivity.

The last time that Qualcomm launched a processor for smartwatches was back in 2016. Fortunately, it looks like the hardware manufacturer has decided to create a new processor for Google’s upcoming smartwatches.
