DOOM Eternal Gameplay Video Announced By Bethesda For QuakeCon 2018

Bethesda announced yesterday that the long-awaited DOOM Eternal gameplay video would arrive for the time during the QuakeCon 2018 video games fair.

On the official Bethesda Twitter page, the publishers announced that the upcoming title in the DOOM franchise would show itself in August, during the QuakeCon 2018.

QuakeCon is the annual fair held by id Software, Bethesda, and ZeniMax Media, which will take place this year, starting on August 9th, in Dallas, Texas, US, at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center.

id Software has already published some information about the upcoming title of the DOOM franchise during the E3 2018 video games fair in Los Angeles, during the Bethesda conference.

It did it through a brief teaser that served put everyone on their feet, although this is was a concise one that only showed us some information about the upcoming title.

According to the trailer (scroll to the end of this article to watch it), in DOOM Eternal, we will have an Earth entirely dominated by demons, devils, and supernatural creatures. And that’s about all that has been revealed.

That is why the gamers expect that during the QuakeCon 2018 fair the company will provide us with a lot of information about the new features of the upcoming DOOM title and its plot.

And now, as Bethesda announced that the first DOOM Eternal gameplay video would show at the QuakeCon this year, those expectations could be met.

The last thing we heard about this upcoming title was a rumor that the video game will launch this year, information that came from Amazon, allegedly, although neither id Software nor Bethesda has confirmed.

We’ll see if QuakeCon 2018 will take us out of doubt about the specific launch date. The DOOM Eternal game will presumably arrive on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
